Batman: Arkham VR core game is only an hour long

Batman: Arkham VR is set to be the first Batman game to fully take advantage of the latest trend in gaming, that of Virtual Reality. Batman: Arkham VR will be a PlayStation 4 VR Exclusive, and it will be a quite the…concise game? According to a comment from Rocksteady Studios Brand Marketing Producer, Dax Ginn to Press-Start.com.au, the core game will take about 60 minutes to complete.

“The core narrative is about 60 minutes in duration, however additional content is unlocked that provides about another 90 minutes of gameplay on top of that. So there are plenty of reasons to play through the game multiple times in order to see everything that we have put into it.”

So to complete everything the game has to offer, you’ll need to set aside part of an evening at 2.5 hours, which is a little disappointing, and hopefully not a sign of things to come with regards to big titles adopting VR.

What do you think about this? A bit too short, or to be expected for a first VR game of a franchise? Let us know in the comments below, the RGM Forums or on Twitter.
