Ubisoft’s Steep is free-to-play this weekend (March 10-12)

If you’ve been waiting around to play Ubisoft’s attempt at an extreme sports game, you’re in luck. Why? Because Steep is free-to-play this weekend! Released back in December, Steep has players taking part in skiing, snowboarding, and more in a open world mountain full of activities. Although it may not have been the success Ubisoft wanted, perhaps a free-play weekend can bring in some new players that weren’t present before. Players will have full access to the game’s modes and offerings until March 12th.

To entice players even further, Steep‘s Standard and Gold edition (DLC included) will be on sale. The Standard edition will be 50% off and the Gold edition will be 40% off. Also, all progress made over the free weekend will carry over should you purchase the full game. Both sales will continue throughout the weekend, but will conclude March 13th.
