Farpoint on PSVR gets a new trailer & announces it has now gone gold!

Love alien planets? Dig a good mystery? Then Farpoint on PSVR sounds right up your alley. Sony Interactive Entertainment in conjunction with development studio Impulse Gear, have released a new story trailer for Farpoint along with the announcement that the game has now gone gold and is still planning on its release date of 16 May, 2017.

Supporting the PSVR Aim controller, Farpoint will release on PSVR with a co-op online mode so you can choose to explore this planet on your own, or team up with a friend.

The retail price upon release will be $49.99 USD for the game, or if you chose to purchase it in a bundle with the PSVR Aim controller it will be $79.99 USD.

On a mission to pick up scientists studying an anomaly near Jupiter, a sudden rupture nearby sends you and their station crashing onto an unknown alien world. Separated from your colleagues, you must use holographic logs scattered throughout the landscape to reunite with the scientists and escape the planet.
