CD Projekt Red has issued a statement via twitter regarding the theft of Cyberpunk 2077 assets.

The perpetrators have threatened to release the files if CD Projekt Red doesn’t comply to their demands.
CD Projekt Red has refused to honor their demands and aren’t concerned if the information is leaked since the files are old and are not relevant to the project at the current stage of development.
If you do stumble upon this leaked info, be sure to take it with a grain of salt.
It’s unfortunate that this has happened this close to E3. However, we still don’t know if CD Projekt Red will be showing anything regarding Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2017.
