The Talos Principle, a first-person puzzle game with a philosophical storyline, was released on Linux, OS X and Windows in 2014, on Android about 6 months later and on PlayStation 4 in October 2015. Due to the craziness of this quarter of the year, despite its critical success (averaging an 88 overall on Metacritic at the moment I'm writing this article), was pretty much lost in the tons of games getting released during that period and is not known to the general public.
It didn't prevent the company for wanting to create a sequel however. Croteam, the development team behind the original game and the Serious Sam franchise, just announced that a sequel is coming during the Nordic Game conference in Sweden.
A tweet from one of the creators stated that "Yes, Talos Principle 2 is going to happen" and the official account of the team re-tweeted this message. Though it is not an official confirmation, I think we can presume that it's true, unless the company is really playing with us.
I personally didn't have the chance to try the first game, but now I'm definitely intrigued by the concept of a philosophical first-person puzzle game that we can presume is inspired by the Greek mythology (Talos being a giant mechanical man who protects Europa in Crete from pirates and invaders).
