Naughty, naughty Steamy Weamy! In a page on the Steam Store that has now been taken down, release details for the second and final expansion pack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt were revealed. A screenshot of the page was obviously taken, and this being the internet, we have that image here.
The expansion description from Steam states:
“Blood and Wine is the final expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — and award-winning role-playing game set in a vast fantasy open world.
Become professional monster slayer Geralt of Rivia and explore Toussaint, a remote land untouched by war, where you will unravel the horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom. With all trails leading to dead ends, only a witcher can solve the mystery and survive the evil lurking in the night. Introducing an entirely new realm to traverse, new characters and monsters. Blood and Wine is a 20+ hour adventure full of dark deeds, unexpected twists, romance and deceit.”
CD Projekt RED recently released some screenshots for the expansion pack here, and Marcin Momot, the Senior Social Media and Community Coordinator for CDPR stated:
“I can already tell you Blood and Wine is a fascinating story, with every sort of twist and turn you’d expect from our writers… Toussaint, the new realm we’re creating for the expansion, is unlike anything you’ve seen in Wild Hunt – carefree and colorful, but your gut never stops telling you that there’s some real dark stuff happening underneath all that.”
There is as yet no trailer available but the 5 screenshots that were released on April, 22nd are here (including the image at the top of this post).
