The Division's "Hornet" and "Hutch" Exploits Get the Boot April 1st.

Many players have been enjoying exploits in Tom Clancy‘s The Division since the game’s release. Among the most popular are the “Hornet” and “Hutch” exploits.

According to The Division‘s forums, Ubisoft will make the following changes on during server maintenance April 1st:

  • Madison Field Hospital: The Elite NPC that spawns when Hutch is killed before jumping down from the roof will no longer drop additional loot when killed repeatedly.
  • Missions: Named NPCs killed from outside the mission area will no longer drop additional loot when killed repeatedly.
  • Fixed issues which could allow groups to bypass the limit of four members.

These fixes are no joke.

The last fix refers to a matchmaking glitch, which allows up to 30 people into the same mission, making them ridiculously easy. See it in action below.

Server maintenance is scheduled for 09:00 AM CEST, 03:00 AM EDT, 12:00 AM PDT. 8:00 AM GMT.

Estimated downtime is approximately 30 minutes.

Try not to be too upset, though. Ubisoft just announced what’s coming in the free Incursion update.
