Next week’s notable game releases (November 7-11, 2016)

Next week (November 7-11) see’s a few games being released across all platforms, however here are 4 of the more notable ones to look out for.

Small Radios Big Televisions – Nov 8 (PC and PS4)

Of course, Adult Swim is usually more associated with animations more directed at adults, with Robot Chicken probably being one of their most, if not their most popular export. However, it’s easy to forget that they also dabble in games with their latest release, Small Radios Big Televisions being a puzzle/adventure game that is all about “exploring digital worlds stored on analog media.” It sounds bizarre, looks bizarre and is right up my alley.

Xenoraid – Nov 8 (PS4 and Xbox One)

Xenoraid may have already been out for just over a month on PC, but it is making its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this week. For more information on this game, check out our review.

Yesterday Origins – Nov 10 (PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One)

Yesterday Origins looks like an absolutely fascinating game from Microids, which is coming near the end of next week and looks very much like a game cut from the same cloth as the Broken Sword games, in both art style and gameplay. A game about time-travel, forgotten memories and immortality this could well be one of those cult classic games that has a lot of lasting power – but then of course, time will tell.

Dishonored 2 – Nov 11 (PC, PS4 and Xbox One)

Dishonored 2 is undoubtedly the biggest game release of the week and it looks like it’s going to be a brilliant second chapter in the series. Playing the role of a supernatural assassin, you’ll be either the royal protector – Corvo Attano or Empress Emily Kaldwin. Giving you the option to go through the game undetected or to go about your business in a more gung-ho fashion, Dishonored 2 is looking like another winner from Bethesda.
