Three Fields Entertainment, who recently released Dangerous Golf, are currently working on a new driving game which will be the spiritual successor to the Burnout series. The studio is made up of former Burnout and Black developers and the recently released Dangerous Golf has a lot in common with the crash mode featured in their previous racing series. Alex Ward, Creative Director at Three Fields, released a tweet with the simple, but effective message:

Ward has stated in the past that if Dangerous Golf was successful, the studio would work on the spiritual successor to Burnout. Many fans have been asking EA, who owns the Burnout license, for a new title but we have not seen one since 2008’s Burnout Paradise.
