Campo Santo have taken to their blog to announce that their best selling title, Firewatch, will soon be playable on Xbox One. The developer has acknowledged all the interest from Xbox gamers and are apparently “thrilled to finally be sharing Firewatch with our friends in the Xbox community.” Several new features are being added to the upcoming game, including a Firewatch Audio Tour which is being described by Campo Santo as “one part scavenger hunt, one part museum tour, one part game dev workshop.”
A free-roam mode is also being added to the Xbox One version at launch with other platforms to follow at a later date. To celebrate, a trailer was unveiled which you can take a look at below.
Firewatch will be setting up camp on Xbox on September 21st.
